do you remember the time when...

I would like to think mummy remembers what silly things i got up to - so heres a good'n for you.

In the last year I have been helping Molly and I to slot our PEC (symbol) cards (which were kept on the fridge) into the oven. Now you might be wondering whether Mummy would notice. Well she really didn't, not even when once they were burning in the top of the oven and it was smoking. Poor mummy thought it was her oven not being cleaned and the very next day the oven was sparkling.

However this did not solve the case yet far from it! we slot the cards so well that the only way mummy would find out if one didn't quite make it and half slotted out. This happened and oh boy did mummy realised what had been going on. Mummy said it was like having your bank card being swallowed by the floor boards never to be found again. These cards cannot be taken out without taking the whole oven apart. I am not sure thats even possible mummy - how does one get them out? wouldn't that defeat the point of 'posting' them through a tiny gap? The things that adults just don't understand, maybe the level of fun decreases when your older?

Anyways I think the last card was the symbol for 'wait'...

when time just flys...

So I am nearly five and I understand that at my age your allowed to revert to being naughty. This includes smearing snot on mummy when she isn't looking or picking my nose in VERY public places.

So I have been to school since September last year and I LOVE it! well not in the mornings... not so good in the mornings. It is like someone just put a notion in my head that I need way more sleep but mummy doesn't allow this obviously!

I now know how to sign more and no-one quite realises how much I understand! it is like someone trying to read when they can already read the dictionary. I understand how to play people to get what I want - like the other day I really wanted that banana off my sister and made her see that she didn't want it when I threw it on the floor - then she shared it with me :)

Sometimes me and my sister share things together and we work together on our awesome tasks. For example we are sitting in church knowing full well the biscuit tin is going to be opened at the end of the service...Molly does the distraction by grabbing one then I swoop alone when Molly is getting told off and grab three or four then share them with Molly whens she done getting told off; works every time!

Even though I am still not talking or babbling and actually have gone backwards in knowing my sounds of saying 'cat' or 'go' i know that my understanding for situations is a lot better. Not everyone is going to understand me but my mummy and daddy love me very much and appreciate my love of learning.
